Barrandov Studio

Barrandov Studio is one of the largest and oldest film studios in Europe. For more than eighty-five years, the studios have been the location of choice for over 5,000 Czech and International films. Barrandov Studio boasts nine soundstages on Barrandov hill and four more in a nearby district of Hostivař. Barrandov Studio complex offers all film-related fields and services in one convenient location. The core of Barrandov Studio remains its sound stages (incl. 4,000 sq m large MAX stage) and the exterior backlot with a clear natural horizon, which is also part of the Barrandov premises. But the studios lot has also production offices and backstage facilities, set construction workshops, the large costume&props department, post-production houses, SFX teams or camera and lighting equipment rental at your disposal.
