Biograf Jan Sverak company was established in Prague in 1994 and has been producing films of its founder and directing manager – director and producer Jan Sverak. To date, Jan Sverak has directed a number of feature films, for example Academy Award® and Golden Globe winner Kolya (1997) or Elementary School, Academy Award® nominated in 1991. More recently the company has produced Barefoot (2017), Three Brothers (2014), Kooky (2010), Empties (2007), Little Girl Blue (2007), Papa (2004), Dark Blue World (2001) and also road movie Ride (1994) and sci-fi commedy Accumulator 1 (1994).
