Profile
I am a Czech film and TV director, producer, and screenwriter based in London (United Kingdom), Prague (Czech Republic) and I am working across the globe. I am known for emotionally thought-provoking and visually-driven storytelling with an excellent eye for detail and for excellent work with actors. I graduated from the world-renowned Film BA (directing & screenwriting) course at the Westminster Film School in the United Kingdom, where I was also the Vice President of the Film Society and Director of the Westminster Film Festival. I previously studied at the Film & TV School Wales (the University of South Wales – formerly Newport Film School). During my studies, I became a member of BAFTA Wales, British Film Institute (BFI), International Screenwriters‘ Association (ISA), and the Royal Television Society (RTS).

My experience include working in executive roles on many short and feature films, high-end commercials, and television programs. I have produced and developed projects with multi-million dollar budgets and also worked on projects directed or produced by Academy Award®, BAFTA, and Emmy®-winning filmmakers; including Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman, and Ridley Scott. As a director, producer and screenwriter, I am now preparing my directional feature debut, Muddy Shoes, with expected theatrical release in 2023.
Additionally, I am a founder of Ephor Pictures Ltd, an independent film and TV production company based in London. I am also a multi-award-winning filmmaker; Many of the films/screenplays I have written, directed or produced have either won or been nominated for awards at internationally recognized film festivals around the world, including Los Angeles, New York, Austin, Toronto, London, Berlin, Cardiff, and Prague.
