Filip Kovář

I come from a small village in northern Moravia, but I have lived and worked in Prague for several years. I have been dedicated to storytelling through visuals for more than six years. During my studies at the Department of Cinematography at Prague’s FAMU, I had the opportunity to contribute to several remarkable film and documentary projects. Among the most significant are Anděla (directed by Viktorie Novotná), the upcoming film The Earth is Lava (directed by Šárka Leinweberová), and Butterfly Girl (directed by Ema Hůlková), which was nominated for the Czech Lion Awards in the categories of Best Short Film and Best Student Film.

I also collaborated on a documentary portrait of Jiří Myron (directed by Alice Taussiková and Klára Řezníčková), created in cooperation with Czech Television. Currently, I am focused on seeking new opportunities in both film and commercial projects, striving to bring original visual approaches to your projects.
