Miro Gábor graduated from Film Academy in Prague (FAMU) and established himself as DOP in projects like: "Záhada hlavolamu" / Mystery of the Puzzle (1994), "Knoflíkáři" / The Buttoners (1998), "Rok ďábla" / The Year of the Devil (2003) or "Příběhy obyčejného šílenství" / Tales of Common Insanity (2005).
"Rok ďábla" / The Year of the Devil (2003) was awarded first prize The Crystal Globe on International Film Festival Karlovy Vary 2002.
Miro Gabor also worked on various foreign productions including "Dune" (2000), "The Children of Dune" (2002), "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (2002), "Eurotrip" (2003), "Tristan and Isolde" (2003).
His visual effects cinematography in "Dune" (2000) was awarded by Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Emmy.
