Ondřej Belica is a Prague-based cinematographer. He has finished his master studies at FAMU in 2014 and debuted with a feature film PRACH (DUST OF THE GROUND) directed by his longtime collaborator Vít Zapletal which made it into official selection at IFF Karlovy Vary. In Nepal he shot a feature film SUNTALI (2014) which was awarded Best Cinematography by Nepali film critics society. Recently, he finished a feature documentary CENTRAL BUS STATION with director Tomáš Elšík.
He has shot many short films with director György Kristóf eg. 2MM (2010) and ÚSVIT (2011) which was awarded Best Cinematograhy at cinematography festival Kamera OKO and Kodak Young Cinematographers Award. Beijing based Ran-Li directed a short movie LUCIE (2015) which was nominated Best cinematography at New Era Fim Festival in Beijing.
He is currently working on preproduction of a feature film SRŠEN V LÁHVI directed by Vít Zapletal.
Apart from shooting movies he also devotes his time to teaching and researching mesopic vision and movie stylization at PhD programme at FAMU.
