Studio Anima was founded in the year 1991 by Marcela and Milan Halousek as a small animation studio in the tradition of the Czech school of animation with a maximum emphasis on quality. For more than twenty years, Studio Anima’s family environment has been the meeting point and in many cases the starting point of the professional careers of top Czech animators, directors, artists and other film professions. Thanks to this, almost 26 hours of animation in the form of TV series, films or advertising spots have been created.

Our portfolio contains all of the important techniques, from cut out, relief, claymation, pixilation to puppet animation films, which have been our recent primary focus. From the very beginning we have strived to preserve classical film and creative methods, making our work unique in today’s electronic world. Currently we offer complete visual production from A to Z – puppets, props and decorations, animation, editing and post-production. All in our fully equipped studio.
