Bionaut

Bionaut is a fully integrated Czech film and TV production company based in Prague and founded in 1999. The company works with the production of fiction, documentary and animated films and television series. It is now one of the top Czech productions companies in the country.

In 2014, Bionaut expanded to include three new labels to support animation, documentaries and genre films and set up its own animation studio called Kredenc. In 2017 sister companies in Poland (Kosmonaut), Slovakia (Raketa) and Serbia (Aeronaut) were created by Bionaut production.

Planet Bionaut focuses on development, crowdfunding, production, postproduction, marketing and distribution support of several projects every year. All these activities in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia are making Bionaut a unique organization in Central Europe.

Bionaut Works is the service and line producing brand of Bionaut. Many years of experience with organization of filming in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland, represent professional approach to your project and personally customized work which suits your specific needs and budget. For any international production company wishing to shoot part or all of their film in Czechia, they can provide creative and financial collaboration on co-productions, including also applications for co-production funding from the Czech Film Fund and access rebates through the Czech incentives scheme.
