Blue Hills Pictures

Producer Lukáš Mráček, producer Robin Polák and DOP Ondřej Belica are the brainchildren behind the production company Blue Hills Pictures. The company focuses on the production and post-production of feature films and short films alike. Under this brand, in 2018, was produced short film by Italian director Francesco Borchi - The Last Lesson which appeared at a number of international short film festivals and won the Audience Award at the Toscana Filmmakers Festival. In 2020, in coproduction with Albanian EJF Production, the company finalized directorial debut of Jonid Jorgji - Two Lions To Venice, which was nominated by the Albanian film Academy to competition for the 2022 Oscar in the foreign-language film category.

The company has its own post-production studio with full post-production service. They have also collaborated on the projects Marriage (2021) directed by Kateřina Hager, Personal Life of a Hole (2020) directed by Ondřej Vavrečka, Epoch between August and November (2019) directed by Jan Rousek, Krastí (2019) directed by Martin Klusák, Marek Matvija, Květa Přibylová, Jan Rybář.
