Emanuele Ruggiero

Freelance Director, Producer, Journalist since 2001, Photographer, Cinematographer, and Editor working for 30 years in the Show Biz with great experience in the production of tv formats, music videos, documentaries, and film productions, as well as 1st assistant director in many Italian movies.
He worked 2 years as a Lighting cameraman for The Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation Institute by Steven Spielberg.
Working also 12 years in the directing crew of the most famous Italian national TV Series named "100 Vetrine", his fictional debut as a director, the short comedy "Never So Close" brought him many participations to short film festivals in Italy and in the world, where he won many awards.
In the Czech Republic, he produced and directed in 2016 the feature documentary "CZizincII/MYgranti".
The next documentaries coming in 2020 are "Code name: Baletka" and "Epos", two solitaires for cinema and tv. Now he is working as a freelancer both non-commercial and commercial projects.

  • Bachelor of Visual and Performing Arts at the Faculty of Literature/ Philosophy of the University of Bologna, Italy 1994
