Sonberk – the architectural icon of Czech Republic´s winemaking – produces original quality wine from 45 hectares of its own same-named vineyard and offers spaces to lease both for filming and leisure purposes. The winery building and the adjacent vineyard are set in the beautiful South-Moravian landscape facing the magnificent Pálava Hill and Novomlýnské lake-system. Several Czech and international film crews and production companies including HBO and Czech TV already used our services.

Our grapes are sustainably grown, hand-picked and selected for an annual yield of 30 000-150 000 bottles depending on the quality of the vintage. Sonberk is holder of Decanter´s award “The best white dry wine of Central and Eastern Europe”. It is the first and only Czech winery mentioned in Financial Times, New York Times and Wall Street Journal. With our wine we have reached 91 points in the American magazine Wine & Spirits as one of the best from Europe. Every year Sonberk assumes its place in the National Salon of wines – the winning collection of 100 best Czech wines for the respective year. We became the absolute winner of the competition Winery of the year 2013 and category winner in 2015, being a finalist in 2014, 2012 and 2009.

Over and again our wine gets listed in the guide 1000 Vins du Monde. Every year Sonberk qualifies for the finale of Prague Wine Trophy, Czech Republic´s most reputable international wine competition, being its absolut champion twice. The Guide of Czech and Moravian wines granted Sonberk a full point score. Last but not least Sonberk is finalist of the prestigious competition Design of the year.
