Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore, holder of an Oscar for Cinema Paradiso, is shooting a couple days in Prague’s Old Town for his new film: The Best Offer, a drama about the high-stakes world of art auctions, is set in Vienna.

Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush stars alongside Golden Globe-winner Donald Sutherland and Jim Sturgess. Celebrated film composer Ennio Morricone is working on the film’s score.

Sirena Film is the local service provider.

Production will move to Bolzano, Italy after the conclusion of shooting in Prague.

Warner Bros Italia will release the film to theatres in Austria, Germany and Italy in 2013.
