The production incentives program will reopen on January 3, 2024, at 08:00 am CET.
The program will remain open
Now, the acceptance of applications will no longer have to be interrupted thanks to an amendment to Act No. 496/2012 Coll., on Audiovisual Works and Support for Cinematography, approved by the Parliament on November 14, 2023. The program will remain open and will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis.
Other conditions remain unchanged
In other respects, the system remains unchanged and other conditions remain the same, including the cap of CZK 150 million per project.
The new law will come into force in 2025
The new Audiovisual Act is still going through the approval process and will enter into force in first half of 2025, depending on the speed of the legislative process. This law will then include an increase in the maximum amount per project to CZK 350 million.
